Celtics vs Lakers - Round 2

11:14 - Well this was fun. I hope you enjoyed it. I'll be doing more of this as other sporting events that I view I consider a "must watch". Have a good night, I'm off to attack my Phil Jackson voodoo doll.......

11:11 - It's 11:11. I'm making a wish......CRAP it didn't come true. What the hell was that? That was a foul. I really wish Comcast Sports Net was doing this game, I'd love to hear Tommy screaming and yelling at the refs.

11:10 - 3 seconds to go, not much time, no time outs, lots of shooters, what are we doing Doc?

11:07 - Who gets the ball, The Truth........NO, but wait Rondo with the board.

11:05 - Big BABY, and a Marv YEEESSSSSS!!!!!!

11:02 - You got to be kidding me. The refs are obviously on Phil's payroll.

10:59 - Back and forth we go. Ray Ray is really stepping up in KG's absence.

10:55 - What is Paul doing? That is the best Doc can come up with? Overtime here we come.

10:53 - Kobe misses, C's have the ball with 7 to play and a chance to win the game. Worst case we're going to overtime.

10:52 - Paul to the line for 2. Missed the first, ties it up with the second.

10:51 - Doc didn't listen to me, Baby stayed in and missed the wide open shot.........Oh wait, he "TOTALLY redeemed himself" by getting the offensive rebound.

10:49 - 46 seconds left, go with the small lineup, get Eddie in there and create some match up problems for the Lakers. I was never good at coaching, I'm not sure Doc's going to listen to me.

10:47 - Kobe is on FIRE!!!! Lakers up 1 and I'm starting to get worried.

10:46 - Is the Truth about to come alive? Big shot by him to go up 4.

10:39 - KG fouls out, the league is against us.....Powe has had such a good game, why is Big Baby in instead of him?

10:36 - Some serious celebrities at the game tonight. Of course god himself Bill Belichick and non other than Bell Biv Devoe's own Michael Bivins. Who doesn't enjoy a good Biv sighting....

10:31 - After being basically invisible all game long and being trashed by both Reggie Miller and Doug Collins on the broadcast, Lamar Odom has come alive a little. I know all you URI people hate seeing that.

10:26 - Great job by House and Powe to step up off the bench. If Powe keeps this up, Phil will have to call him by his real name. And does anyone know if Eddie's son is still sitting on the C's bench? That kid had some great access.

10:12 - A good way for the C's to close the half, but they are turning the ball way too much. An MVP chant just started for Pierce, and it reminded me of the conversation the TNT crew had about Kobe getting MVP chants in NY Monday night. What a disgrace.....I know your team sucks but really, you're rooting for Kobe Bryant????

10:03 - Did the Lakers not get the memo that Eddie House has hit 35 3's since January 12th?

9:53 - I had no idea that the C's lead the league in technical fouls. The good news is that Perkins is just behind Rasheed for the individual lead.

9:47 - Things are getting physical, a double T on Kobe and Rondo, don't back down young man, go right at the superstar.

9:44 - Ask and you shall receive, the D has picked up drastically and the ball is moving on offense. The lead has jumped to to 9.

Halftime - So the good news is that the C's up'd their shoot percentage to 44%, but the Lakers are still shooting a high number (48%). C's are up 52-51, but we need a little more intensity and aggressiveness, clamp down on the D and extend the 1 point lead. By the way does anyone else miss Charles on the broadcast? I know he needs to be punished but I hope they bring him back by the end of the season. No one tells it like it is like Charles does.

9:07 - You just can't leave the HOUSE. By the way, anyone else excited that the NBA added H-O-R-S-E to the all-star festivities? While I'm sure the participants in this years event will be good, none will be better than these two.

9:00 - The HOUSE is in the HOUSE!!!!

8:54 - Yesterday I proposed a trade between LA and Phoenix for Shaq, I think the Lakers heard me. Chris Mihm is off the bench and producing. Obviously he's being featured.

8:51 - It's Leon POWE, no Leon POW. You're getting paid a nice cushy salary, the least you can do is learn the players names.

8:43 - First quarter is over and two things stand out to me. The Garden seems a little flat tonight and its carrying over to the players. Also, Lakers are shooting almost 48% compared to the C's 35%, hopefully a little intensity and fire in the start of Q2 can change that.

8:41 - That's more like it Rondo.....The crowd seems a little quiet doesn't it?

8:39 - Rondo, what was that???? How many of you have friends that aren't watching the game right now because they have a prior obligation....sorry Tibbs.

8:36 - Sager looks pretty decent actually. I hate to admit that. Man that guy rocks some awesome ties.

8:34 - We're in our second commercial break and they haven't played the absolutely best commercial from the Superbowl. He's my PSA:

8:25 - You know that Odom sighting? So much for that....enjoy your seat on the bench big guys. Oh and thank you for bailing on the URI program after one year.

8:21 - 5-0 start, this could get ugly for the Lakers....wait, there was a Lamor Odom sighting.

8:16 - Does anyone know who KG throws his baby powder to now that Grandy and Max are not in the front row?

8:15 - Marv Albert's doing the game.....YEEESSSSS

8:12 - Remember the good old days of wrestling when you had Karl and Rodman battling the likes of Diamond Dallas Page and Hollywood Hogan?

8:01 - WOW, that's one hell of a draft night outfit Karl......No C-Webb tonight?

8:00 - Does anyone else miss those classic opens that Bob Costa use to do?

7:56 - We're minutes away from game time. I'm eagerly awaiting Craig Sager's outfit for tonight's game. Hopefully he's working the game. I'll be blogging live throughout the game, feel free to interject, I'll be here rooting hard for our C's.....
