As someone who isn't too concerned about his own stats when he engages in organized sports, I had to chuckle with this story.......
Obviously after Kobe Bryant's 61 point performance at Madison Square Garden Monday night, you knew LeBron James was going to try and top that last night. I certainly think he did putting on quite the show last night, going for 52 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. This is only the third time someone has scored 50+ points while tallying a tripdub (Wilt and Kareem where the other two). An impressive feat by any standards we all agree.
However. the fine people of NBA FanHouse are questioning last nights triple double. Apparently they are disputing his 9th rebound, thus not giving him enough. If their theory is correct, it would not make the higher ups happy down in Bristol after they spent the entire morning ball washing LeBron's accomplishment.

The footage isn't clear, I can't really tell, but I can see why the statistician gave it to him. Seriously, they were in New York and they'll do anything they can to get him there for the summer of 2010.

I'm sorry but did you REALLY say in this blog that you aren't concerned about your stats? Every time you play at CAC, you bumrush Tibbs because you HAVE TO KNOW what your stats were!!
